This Dioptase specimen comes from it's type locality Altyn-Tube, KAZ in the size of 3.3 x 2.8 x 2.4 cm (inventory number #200213). The height of the main crystal is precisely 1.5 cm. The Dioptase cluster has superb lustre and it's sitting on a nice contrasting white Calcite matrix. There are two very small chips which are neglectible, this is a wonderful thumbnail specimen.
